We're planning to visit Trapeze Club in Fort Lauderdale but they seem to be open several nights a week. Which night is the best for a couple? We want a good crowd but not too overwhelming since it's our first time at Trapeze.

Trapeze has been around for 29+ years and each night has its own personality:
- Friday: Couples-focused night with a moderate crowd. This is my top recommendation for first-timers. The crowd is typically 50-100 couples, manageable enough to socialize but big enough for good energy. People dress up and the vibe is flirty and social.
- Saturday: The big night. Expect 150-250+ people. The dance floor is packed, the energy is intense, and all three jacuzzis are full. Amazing experience but can be overwhelming for newcomers because of the sheer volume of people.
- Wednesday/Thursday: Lighter crowds, more of a regulars' night. Great if you want a low-key experience with the core Trapeze community.
For your first visit, go Friday. Here's why: you get the full Trapeze experience (dinner buffet, dance floor, lounges, playrooms, jacuzzis) without the Saturday night sensory overload. Plus, the Friday crowd tends to be more approachable because it's not as hectic.
Remember: Trapeze is BYOB. Bring a sealed bottle and they'll set you up with mixers and ice. The dinner buffet runs until midnight and the breakfast buffet starts after midnight — both are included in your cover charge. It's one of the best values in the Florida lifestyle scene.

Saturday is the king at Trapeze, period. Yes, it's crowded, but that's the point. The energy on a Saturday night is electric — the dance floor alone is worth the trip. We've been going for 6 years and Saturday never disappoints. Just arrive by 10pm to get settled and stake out a spot in the lounge before it fills up.
I'd actually suggest going twice if you can — Friday for your first visit to learn the layout and meet people, then Saturday for the full experience. We did this when we first discovered Trapeze and it was the perfect approach. By Saturday, we already knew where everything was and had already met a couple we wanted to see again.
